Season Ticket & Priority Point Transfers

Season Tickets

University of Tennessee Athletics season tickets may be renewed in accordance with the ticket renewal policy as set forth by University of Tennessee Athletics by the individual on the account.

All requests to change account information must be submitted by the account holder of record. Account changes must be submitted in writing and emailed to the Tennessee Fund at [email protected]. Season tickets on an account are nontransferable except as set forth below:

  1. An individual season ticket holder may request to permanently transfer their tickets to another party. If these seats fall within an area that require a capital gift commitment, the Tennessee Fund may assess a capital gift commitment in order to complete the transfer.
    1. All transfers are contingent upon it being an uncontested transfer by either party and approved by the Tennessee Fund.
    2. Number of ticket transfer occurrences are indefinite. Capital gift assessment may apply at each transfer occurrence.

Priority Points

Priority Points on accounts cannot be sold or transferred. There are a few exceptions to this policy as it relates to transfers, including:

  1. In the case of death of the account holder of record, the surviving spouse or domestic partner will automatically assume control of the account and the Priority Points on the account. Please notify the Tennessee Fund with a copy of the death certificate so that our records are updated on the account.
  2. A corporate/business/family account may transfer 100% of points to an individual account, if the individual account holder is the company owner, subject to review by the Tennessee Fund.
    1. Once a corporate account has been changed to a personal account, the Tennessee Fund may grant a 5-year point lock, on a review basis.
  3. An individual account holder may request to transfer points to a direct descendant. This transfer is subject to the following stipulations:
    1. May only transfer 50% of the original account’s total points to the receiving account.
      1. Ex. Account “A” has 100 Priority Points and wants to transfer points to Account “B”.
        1. Due to the rule, Account “B” will only receive 50 points from Account “A”.
  4. An individual account holder may request to transfer a percentage of their points to a non-direct descendant.
    1. May only transfer 10% of the original account’s total points to the receiving account.
  5. Once points are transferred from an existing account to another account, the existing account will be closed.
