Create a Legacy that supports Tennessee Athletics

A great option to consider is making a legacy gift to the University of Tennessee. Legacy gifts, or planned gifts, offer donors the option of making a lasting impact on the Vols and Lady Vols either now or, most often, in the future. Of the various ways our donors make planned gifts to the university, charitable bequests in a will or living trust, beneficiary designations (retirement account, life insurance policy, etc.) and IRA charitable rollover gifts are the most common types of gifts we receive. Gifts of real estate, donor advised fund grants, and life income gifts offer a few other great examples of planned gifts we do receive – some of which offer tax advantages!

Tennessee Always

Tennessee Always is an exclusive society honoring individuals who leave the ultimate legacy for Tennessee student-athletes, coaches, staff and athletic programs through their estate or through life income gifts. These funds ensure our ability to fulfill its long-term vision through support of scholarships, endowments, facility improvement, and other support funds. University of Tennessee alumni and friends who are dedicated to the continued success of Tennessee student-athletes can make a lasting imprint on the program by contributing to the athletic department through various avenues of planned giving.

If your philanthropic plans include a gift to any area of Tennessee Athletics, please let us know so that we can, not only thank you, but truly understand the intent behind your gift and document it accordingly. Please contact the Tennessee Fund at (865) 974-1218 or via email at [email protected]. More information can also be found by visiting the link below:
