Levels & Benefits

Each Tennessee Fund member’s ability to obtain benefits is determined by a combination of annual giving level and donor rank as determined by the Tennessee Fund point system. Benefits are updated annually in April for the upcoming seasons.

PRIORITY POINT RANKINGS

The Tennessee Fund ranks donors based on their total points. The donor with the most accumulated points is ranked number 1, the next highest point total is ranked number 2 and so on. Consecutive years of giving points are withdrawn from a donor account if membership is not renewed annually. Regardless of rank, a donor’s annual contribution must be made in order to receive the opportunity to purchase or renew priority tickets or parking.

USE OF THE POINT SYSTEM

Season Football and Basketball Ticket Assignments and Improvements

The Tennessee Fund uses the point system when ranking donors for annual parking and ticket benefits. For season ticket relocations/improvements, donors will be contacted via email and will be given a date and time in Tennessee Fund rank order to go online and review seat upgrade opportunities. This process is done online with the virtual seat diagrams of Neyland Stadium and Thompson-Boling Arena.

Football and Basketball Parking Pass Assignments

The Tennessee Fund uses the point system during the parking allocation process. Donors must make their contribution and purchase season tickets by the deadline to be eligible to purchase a parking pass. For 2023 football parking, donors giving $10,000+ annually are assigned within Priority I based on priority point rank. Parking for donors giving $5,000 – $9,999 annually is assigned parking within Priority II based on priority point rank. Parking for donors giving $100 – $4,999 annually is assigned within Priority III based on priority point rank. For the 2023-24 season, basketball donors giving $5,500+ in basketball annual contributions are assigned within Priority I based on priority point rank. Donors giving $2,500-$5,499 in basketball annual contributions are assigned within Priority II based on priority point rank. Donor giving $100-$2,499 in basketball annual contributions are assigned within Priority III based on priority point rank. Please note that parking passes are not guaranteed and that assignments are subject to lot availability.

Information on the 2023-24 parking processes will be communicated in the spring of 2023. Click here for more information.

Away Football Games, SEC Postseason Games / Tournaments, and Bowl Game Ticket Assignments

The Tennessee Fund uses donor rank, as determined by the point system, when managing the assignment of away football games, SEC postseason games/tournaments, and bowl tickets. Once it has been determined who will receive tickets to these games, the actual ticket locations are assigned strictly in donor rank order.

Priority Point System

The Tennessee Fund uses a priority point system to help fairly allocate donor benefits. Donors receive points based upon the consecutive number of years that they have given to the Tennessee Fund and the cumulative amount of their contributions. This system seeks to reward both longevity and gift amount when establishing priorities. With the point total, the Tennessee Fund can “rank” all donors regardless of giving category.

Point allocation

  1. 1 pt. Awarded for each $100 donated to the Tennessee Fund* since 1986
  2. 1 pt. Awarded for each $100 donated to Capital/Endowment funds since 1986
  3. 5 pts. Awarded for each consecutive year of giving to the Tennessee Fund since 1986

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Demand for benefits such as tickets and parking passes created the need for a fair system to be established through which these benefits could be distributed fairly. The Tennessee Fund was created, in part, to help address the needs of our growing donor base. The donor priority point system allows us to track support and award benefits as a way to say thank you for the support. Donor generosity has allowed Tennessee Athletics to be 100% self-funded without financial support from tax or tuition-derived dollars.

Once you purchase season tickets through the Tennessee Fund, you will have the option to renew the same seats each year. As long as you continue to maintain the required annual contribution, you will maintain the priority to purchase your tickets. Any year of non-renewal will release the seats.

Once season ticket priority is established, donors must maintain or increase their giving level on an annual basis to retain their season ticket location. If ticket holders wish to improve a seat location, they must be active Tennessee Fund donors and will be notified of opportunities to do so via their email accounts. It is important that our donors keep their email addresses updated with our office, as we primarily use electronic communication for this process. Donors may review seat opportunities through our online virtual seat maps of Neyland Stadium and Thompson-Boling Arena.

Your gift to the Tennessee Fund is used for student-athlete scholarships, facility upkeep and general operating budget needs. With over 585 student-athletes on campus, your donations play a critical role in the success of UT Athletics programs.

Please consult a personal tax advisor concerning the deductibility of any contribution to the Tennessee Fund.

After our renewal date, season ticket holders will have the opportunity to review chances to upgrade or relocate their seats. Our season football inventory is listed year-round at AllVols.com on the virtual seat map linked under the "Season Tickets" tab. In any upgrade/relocation situation, the donor is eligible for the section in the stadium or arena corresponding to the current annual contribution levels.
